How long is an office visit?
Typically a first visit lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. Return visits
last between 45 and 75 minutes.
What happens at an office visit?
The first visit involves an in-depth interview. We will not only talk
thoroughly about the main ailments that bring you to the office, but
also look at illness in the greater context of your life. The job of
the physician is to uncover these hidden relationships between your
symptoms and other aspects of your life situation. We will then decide
if other diagnostic tests are necessary. These could be as simple and
immediate as tongue and pulse diagnosis, the ancient techniques of Chinese
medical practitioners, or your condition may warrant modern laboratory
testing.
After the interview a treatment plan is developed. Depending on the
situation this could involve a combination of several of the following:
dietary and lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation,
and acupuncture.
How much do visits cost?
In order to make alternative medicine available to more people, Dr.
Naimon uses a sliding scale in his practice, roughly based on annual
income earned. To find out how his fee schedule applies to you please

Are acupuncture needles safe?
All the acupuncture needles used by Dr. Naimon are sterile and disposable.
